We had our first real appointment today and all is well! We got to see our little kidney bean, measuring 2 cm and a heartbeat of 162! So that makes the prediction lean towards a girl...but still a long way to go before we find out for sure.
I have a fibroid measuring 3 cm, which the doctor didn't make too big of a deal about but after reading more online it is a little scary. The doctor said it shouldn't cause any problems except for possibly during delivery. I also read it increases risks for miscarriage and preterm labor. More prayer is really the only thing we can do about that.
Next appointment is December 11, after the news is finally out!
