16 Weeks

I have decided to try my best to get a belly photo every Thursday to mark the next week. We will see how well I remember to do that. Here is one for today, marking 16 weeks.

Nick and I were gone for a few days this week. He went with his Dad and brother Jones to the ranch. He took George, and I was pleased he came back in one piece. I went with Colleen, Anna, Erin, and Tanya to San Marcos for a girls shopping trip. I wasn't able to shop for Baby Hein since we don't know the gender yet, but that probably saved me a bunch of money. I did manage to find some good shoes and a few clothing items, coming back with $1 in cash to spare.

Today after getting home and grabbing a bite to eat, Nick finished the rest of our master bedroom furniture. He is a few (try six) weeks behind on finishing it based on our original deadline but we won't mention that. He has done a great job and it looks so much better. I'll post final pictures once it is all dry and installed back in our room. (to see previously posted pictures click here).

Tonight he also cleared out Baby Hein's closet and took out all the builder shelving. We discovered a slight setback with that. Apparently they decided to install carpet and baseboard around a fake shelf piece, so now we will have to decide how to deal with that. Here are some before and after pictures. Now we are settling in for a nice and calm New Years Eve night at home.
