"Everything is Perfect!"

Those were the doctor's words this morning - everything is perfect! Anatomy scan from last time was great, blood work was great, all is going great. Heartbeat was 138 today. Our next appointment is March 5, and it will be more involved with education, talking about pediatricians, classes to take, the hospital, etc. Also I get to take the exciting glucose test next time. After March 5 we will start doctor visits every two weeks. Wow! Already? Seems soon...but that is what she said.

I still feel really good, no complaints. I am ready to buy the furniture for the room and we have a theme picked out. I want to get the carpets cleaned too. Baby shower talk has started so that is exciting! I think we are going to go register in the next few weeks. So far I started a registry on Amazon.com but haven't done much with it. We will also go to Babies R Us - fun!

Next Thursday is our tour of the hospital's labor and delivery area. We are also starting to interview home daycares and have some excellent referrals from people we trust - so that is comforting. We won't need daycare until September but we are finding that the really good ones are either all booked up, or will book fast as soon as they have an opening.

Here is a sneak peak at the theme for the room, and the 21 week belly photo from yesterday. Our Blueberry almost weighs one pound now and is about the size of a banana and length of a carrot. She is gaining her sense of touch and most likely spends a lot of time grabbing at the umbilical cord. Her taste buds are also forming so I better start eating more veggies!
