Hello Third Trimester

Dear Second Trimester: It has only been a few days, but I'm going to miss you, I can already tell. I'm sorry if I took you for granted. Come back anytime.

Dear Third Trimester: So...you and me for 12 weeks huh. Oh boy. This is already getting interesting.

Feeling my belly skin expanding each and every second is not exactly an enjoyable experience. Don't get me wrong, I am still thankful for all that has gone well with this pregnancy. But this is something I was not warned about. You see these ladies at the mall and in stores...their bellies are huge, and you think "wow she's ready to pop!" Well, don't be fooled, she FEELS like she is ready to pop too! At least I do anyway. Trust me, you earn every inch of that belly. I never knew my skin could feel so...tight.

We have had our moments in peace where Nick and I both sit and enjoy the calm silence of our house. The luxury of not having to answer to anyone when we want to take a nap, or go somewhere. After eight years of marriage, we know these days are numbered. However part of me is just ready for June. Let's have a look at her already! I want to see what this little blueberry kick boxer looks like.

Nonetheless we have so much coming up in the next several weeks that I'm sure time will fly whether I want it to or not. Today we are having maternity pictures made with a photographer. I am about to go in search of outfits for that here in a minute. Next Friday is another doctor's appointment and a 3D sonogram. April 13 starts all of our "we don't know what we are doing" classes. April 17 is the girlfriends shower and April 29 is the work shower. All is coming along well. Here is the infamous belly shot, which now does pregnancy justice I think considering its size. And Grandpa B has struck again...soon to be known as "Santa B". Isn't this the most adorable little doll! The name Sydney is embroidered on her dress.
