I can't believe Sydney is about to be three years old. I feel like now time is going by too fast. Like around the corner is 15 and she won't want to hang out with me anymore. Then she'll be going to college. Then she'll be getting married. I have this vision that in her 20s we will be best friends. It may not come true, but I can dream right? The few years before my Mom passed away we were good friends. I miss that friendship. The kind that doesn't judge you, that knows you inside and out, that doesn't fault you for having a bad day, loves you unconditionally, always wants what is best for you...I have these visions that someday when the girls are older we will have that type of friendship. For now I just get these glimpses of it in-between the dirty diapers, toddler tantrums, whiny fits, and sleepless nights. It's like I want them to grow up, but I don't, but I do, but I don't.... :-)
telling me to wait (in her best mommy voice, almost like I'm looking in a mirror)
I need to work on Claire's "say cheese" smile...ha ha!
She told me to stay where I was so she could go see the duck on her own

Climbing is new for Sydney and it's a bit nerve-racking for me
Almost three?! Agh.
More climbing in downtown Dallas at Kylde Warren Park
sister picnic
Klyde Warren Park - they have food trucks too, pretty neat place, across from Modern Art Museum
