We had Sydney's third birthday party. We toned it down a bit from last year, or at least, that was the intent. But then we had visitors. Lots of visitors! Nick's grandparents were in town from Indiana. How cool is it to have your great-grandparents at your birthday party?! Pretty neat. Uncle Jones came in town from Houston. And THEN...Auntie Tricia, Uncle Dave, baby Katie from Ohio, AND Auntie Jasmine from Atlanta, were all in town. LOVE. It was so. much. fun. I could cry just thinking about it, and I'm NOT pregnant. LOL. It was a Curious George affair with some water activities thrown in to deal with the heat. Colleen came over early and helped me prepare for the party, and I could. not. have done it without her! She also made Sydney's adorable outfit. I said that last time right? Well, it was so darn cute, it's worth mentioning again. Just wait until you see Claire's outfit next month, equally adorable!

And babies. Babies were everywhere! Our very own Claire of course, and cousin Sullivan, baby Katie, and the newly welcomed baby Aaron (Diana and Michael's addition), and even though Parker can walk (Rene and Shaun's cutie), he's still a baby to me. :) Parker is about to welcome a baby brother soon too, can't wait to meet Piercen!

Claire has had plenty of fun playing with Sydney's new toys.

the face of a three year old. *sigh*
Oh, and my husband turned 33 a few days later. Sydney was well experienced with candles and cake by this point so she made sure nothing went wrong. LOL.
Father's Day was celebrated with Nick going fishing in Galveston with his Dad and three of his brothers.
Claire welcoming Gampa back home
Grandpa B, now known to Sydney as Poppa because that is what she decided he should be called...went to lunch with us girls for Father's Day.
Sydney completed her first swim lesson at the YMCA last night. She cried at first until I realized she had to use the bathroom, and then she was all good. Such a relief, and so excited to continue lessons throughout the summer!
Claire has slept over 11 hours for three nights in a row. This is history in the making, and even though I may be jinxing it, I am almost sad to miss out on those nightly nursing sessions. I know...I'm weird. She's trying to stand up all the time now too. Growing. Too. Fast.
And if you are STILL reading this and want to see something cute, check out Sydney singing Jesus Loves Me to our dog George. It was too cute not to video.
