To describe today as a hard day would be a drastic understatement. I think today has been one of the worst days of my entire pregnancy. But as usual Nick is here to help me relax and try not to fret over what other people think or do or say. Right now we should be concentrating on ensuring Sydney remains healthy and safe, that should be our first priority.
All that said, we are scheduled to be induced on Tuesday June 8th. I will go for one final doctor's appointment on Monday morning. They estimated Sydney to weigh 6 pounds 4 ounces at today's visit. Last week my belly measured 35 weeks, when I was 37 weeks pregnant. They did not measure my stomach today though.
The doctor is optimistic that we can have a safe and healthy delivery on Tuesday, so we are praying for that. Hope everyone has a great weekend! Unfortunately Nick will be working a lot this weekend in preparation to be off work next week. (Boo!) I will probably post again after Monday's appointment. Thanks for all of your love and support.
