Allergies

I missed my Zyrtec dose last night, and am consequently battling itchy eyes and a stuffy nose at 12:15 AM on a Sunday morning. It's hard to fall asleep when you cannot breathe through your nose.  Zyrtec and I have a love/hate relationship. I think it really helps me...no, it MUST help me because I survived the country farm on Friday. Yet it will knock me out for 24 hours if I take it after 7 PM. In desperation tonight I took half a pill at 11 PM. So far...no improvement so alas...I blog.

Since my last post we have had some fun. During snack time Wednesday I put Sydney's cup on top of her head to be funny. A little while later I find her trying to balance all things on top of her head, and we had some pretty good laughs!

Thursday was a gorgeous day so we scooted to the park for some play time. Sydney loves to visit the ducks and talk to them (quack quack).

Friday we went to Country Critters Farm with the moms group. Sydney is still a bit young for the bounce houses but we enjoyed picking up acorns, story time, a hay ride, petting zoo, play ground, and just plain FUN.

Eavesdropping on other kids story time

See ya later...

Farm dog! Awww

Makes me miss my Poppa's farm

Hay ride! Minus the hay
Oh the choices...

Friday I also picked up our bean bag chair for the play room. It was originally intended for Nick because he finds himself uncomfortable sitting on the floor in the play room. However...it isn't quite his size so I think we may be finding an alternative solution for him. In the mean time, it fits Sydney and I perfectly!

Next week is pretty low key so I may have to find another hobby to occupy my insomnia-allergy time. We have a park play date, which might call for long sleeve shirts with a high of 70! And we have a play date at a miniature railroad where we get to ride a real train. Choo Choo! Have a great week!
