All About Daddy

I went out of town this past weekend to visit my friend Jasmine who moved to Atlanta in late 2010. Last January I made the same trip at the same time so it is starting to seem like an annual occasion. Jasmine's birthday is January 22 so the timing is great to also make it a birthday celebration. I lucked out on some super cheap tickets while randomly checking flights in early December. Our friend Patricia, who just moved to Ohio last August, was able to also fly to Atlanta so we had a true girls weekend. It was different not waking up to the sounds of "Momma! Momma!" on a baby monitor for two days.  Here are some pictures from the trip.

Anyway, so being home with Sydney today, she is having Daddy withdrawals. She spent so much time with Nick this weekend that I think she is a bit confused as to where he went this morning. So we met him for lunch. She was absolutely thrilled to see him, and watched his every move anytime he left the table.

Yesterday was amazing outside so we played in the yard while Nick messed with a solar panel project for his Dad's deer feeders. Having our patio extended a couple of years ago was such a great decision because it makes a really great surface area for Sydney to play on. Here are some pictures. Hope you have a great week!
