Well I was able to get in to see the hernia surgeon today. He said I'm fine! After examining it and talking it over he said he sees no issues with the hernia and delivery.
Since he is in the same office building as my doctor, I immediately went to see my doctor's office. I left a message for the doctor letting her know I saw the surgeon and that he has no concerns, so now I want to know if there is any other reason to be induced. If not, then hopefully the doctor will be fine with giving Sydney at least a week past her due date to make her own arrival.
I go back to the doctor on Friday so we should know more then. Who knows, Sydney could decide she wants to make an appearance next week - you never know. But I do know that we are very anxious to meet her and are ready whenever she decides it's time.
