Busy Busy

One of my biggest fears of becoming a stay at home mom was not having enough time outside of the house. I knew on a reduced income, I wouldn't have money to shop my heart out all the time...not to mention that I hate shopping (exception: kitchen gadgets).
Boy was I worried for nothing! We have been going, going, going in September. A lot of it is thanks to the mothers group I joined. God blessed me so much when He led me to this group of wonderful Christian women. There are 75 members total, and so far every single one I have met is incredibly sweet and welcoming. Not only do we meet up during the day while the husbands are at work, we also have mothers night out and mothers night in to get a little kid-free time. Last Saturday I participated in mothers night in playing Bunco. SO FUN! We all enjoyed it so much we are going to make it a monthly game night.

One of the moms I have become good friends with started another group for moms in our area with babies that were born in 2010. This will be a great group because Sydney will have even more friends that are close to her age. We are hosting a play date with that group at our house in a couple of weeks and I am really excited.

Tomorrow is Sydney's 15 month check up. I can't wait to find out just how much she has grown; I think I might cry. It just goes by so fast! Here are some pictures of our recent activities.

Can you find her in this picture?
She explores with no turning back!
