TGIF!

Tomorrow is Friday! It has been one go-go-go week around here. Next week will be more of the same, and looking forward to it. Here is a recap of our week -
Monday: Sports Play Date with Christian Moms Group buddies. All the little ones were dressed in college or professional sports attire. The host had lots of different sports-themed toys to play with. I snapped a quick cell phone picture on our way out the door, and Sydney was way too excited, can't you tell? Go Dallas Stars!

Tuesday: Picnic at the park - FJ "Red" Kane Park in Arlington. It was awesome. They have a nice play ground for little ones, plus a larger one for the big kids. Everyone had a good time and enjoyed chasing some of the animals into the water.

Checking out the fish

Ducks! Practiced our "quack quack" noise

Wednesday: Errands! Caught up on some shopping and did an unlimited ticket to the carousel ride at the mall. We had two coupons to ride it for free, then the lady said if I paid $1 we could ride unlimited. The moms group was there but I failed to ask any of them to take our picture...just imagine me dizzy as all heck and Sydney giggling the whole time. I think we stopped at round ten so I would be okay to drive home.

Thursday: Rock printing! This is an annual occassion for the Christian Moms Group. They do it every year around this same time. The older kids really get into it, while the younger kids probably don't care too much. But nonetheless we slapped some paint on Sydney's feet and made a memory! The lady that hosted it lives on an acre in the country (Venus, TX) and it was a beautiful day. We spent two hours playing while the rocks dried. I'm not very crafty so I'm thankful to have a group that will help me improve in this area of parenthood.

We didn't even attempt the hands, just the feet

Other cooperative children were able to do both :)
